Problem with clutch

Hey guys, I'm having trouble with my new clutch, and I was hoping you could help me out.

Ok, here's the story...
Got new clutch pack. Measured it to 2.14" before installing. Offset last fiber. Installed pressure plate. Installed lightweight springs. Installed Gann lockup.
Then I put the sprocket cover back on, and the clutch was very stiff. I would pull in the lever, and it would completely stop. Hmmmm....
Took off the clutch cover, and the plates werent moving at all with the lever. I could move the clutch plates with my hand because they had no pressure on them. I think I installed the pressure plate incorrectly, and didn't line it up, so it wasn't seating. Took it back apart, put it back together. Now the clutch lever is really light. Reeeeally light. I worked on bleeding it for a while but it just wasn't improving. Plus, the clutch is not engaging, even when in gear. Any thoughts?

I will bleed the dang thing until it gets feeling in it, but I think I'm still missing something. I was going to start by pullingthe sprocket cover.

This bike is pissing me off. I think it needs a mechanic mod...

Also, I was reading about the k7 1000 clutch, and they say you don't have to offset the last fiber. That's only to monitor clutch life. If you leave the last fiber in line with the others it will give you another 15% more clutch life because you're essentially adding another fiber. Can we do that on out bikes?

Gilberjj see my Thread, i have had the same problem.
Unfortunally nobody here was so kind to help out, only stupid suggestions on wrong installation and stuff like that.

i do not know how to explain you exactly but you are right in first instance you have installed the pressure plate incorrect, with the result that when you pulled the lever you &*^%$# up the Clutch pin (left side bike) which pushes in.

i simply took a new pin and installed it, the lock up clutch i have reinstalled and everything is ok now
