Converting the ZX-14 for sidedraft applications

looks like a 70 degree bend makes it work ...

But I think I need to build a common plenum intake using a single throttle body so my knees wont hit them

Didn't the ZL come with some side "guards" that spread your knees out??

yes , but i think that building a tuned common plenumm intake will make more power .

and using a throttle body off of a mustang would be cheaper than boring a set of motorcycle throttle bodies.

Oh, sorry. I thought you said that you needed to build a common plenum intake in order to keep your knee's from hitting the TB's

Never said you couldn't...but that isn't why you said you wanted to make it narrower. You said you wanted to make room for your knees.

You should get busy on your design to reinvent the wheel.

Good luck with everything.

Are you thinking of tig'n something together? Maybe mock up similar to the VMax? Probably want to tunnel the box for best results no matter what design you go with

Why do you think that setup will perform better?

http://www.hondatuningmagazine.com/tech/htup_0905_individual_throttle_bodies_installation/index.html

I haven't read anything that indicates that ITB's aren't better performing in these apps?? Can't wait to see those big HP gains! Better call the Big 4 with your findings!
