Front cowling question?

I would like to remove the front head light cowling but im not sure what this entails? Are the lights fixed to the cowling? What other parts must come off first? Thanks

1st I would reference the service manual
Do you have one handy? If not we can provide one free! You can use this manual for future reference, mods, and fixing protocol

BigT112's right, headlamps mount to the nose, just unplug them before pulling it - take a look thru the service manual for details, but in a nutshell ( if memory serves ) you'll have to remove both ram air covers, ram air tubes, the windscreen, the screws from both upper side fairings where they attach to the sides of nose, the gauge cluster, unplug tipover sensor, and the bolts at the fairing stay - its been quite awhile since I've had mine apart so I'm probably forgetting some things.......all in all, patience is key ( at least for me it is ) good luck
