Most full set ups are easily over $1000......thats a lot more then a few hundred.

Used is the key. I spent $450 on a Brocks Street Meg. If you're not in a big hurry and keep an eye out on the different forums, you might stumble onto a pretty good deal. Even put up an add of what you're looking for.
