high volume oil pump gear
is anyone here using one? anybody have one without balancer shafts?

You can just by the relief valve from Schnitz to increase oil pressure. Don't know this to be fact but I have heard that the gear can cause the motor to empty the pan at high RPM causing cavitation in the pump. Bob Carpenter told me to leave my stock pump and gear in place.

Call Jim (or maybe he will see this post and comment) at competion cnc. He will answer any and all questions you have. A great guy. His recommendations for me were high volume gear,new pump rotors and shim the factory relief valve.

Sorry mine was on a 06 GSXR1000 3 mil motor. Everybody is different. But in my Turbo Busa I use a stock pump with my 2" inch oilpan.
