I would love to see this crowd at the dragstrip. But I guess it's cooler to do it illegally.

These ar le the guys that say they have fast bikes, but you never see a time slip from the track.
You would think if they were good, they would bring it to the track.

I ran across this and figured someone could probably have a use for them.
I know it's not for a bike but it's a great price....

"2 NOS BOTTLES (BLUE)"
"smaller tanks says cylinder and gas = 24lbs cylinder empty = 14lbs weight of gas = 10
Larger says = cylinder and gas = 25lbs cylinder empty = 15lbs weight of gas = 10"

50.00 each / buy the pair for 80.00

Rob,
When are we going to get together at PBIR for some 1/4 mile fun already???

I promise I'll be slow as usual.

Enough of that 9/10 stuff.

Hell, you're going to make me break my 666 post count. lol

I got off the phone with zixxer14 tonight, that Joker is funny.
We were talking about buying some bikes for track day.
You should meet up with us tomorrow (2/1/11) at bike night.

To answer your question: 9/10 it's more of a stock racing game around here.
For the 1/4 your setup really needs to be extended and roughly 245 hp or more, because of all that weight from the ZX14... I'm in the process of installing the swing arm and having the engine work done, then from that point I'm ready to go back and test it in the 1/4. With the stock engine and my weight of 225 lbs without gear the bike moves okay. In the 1/4 mile I ran 160 miles per hour with a 40 shot nitrous pushing 218 hp with a gear ratio of 16/39 .

"I promise I'll be slow as usual." Who said you were ever slow?...
Did you ever figure out the set up for your shifter?

And if you want more power in the 1/4, wouldn't it stand to reason you would want more power in the 9/10?

When you get a chance to run against the new ZX10 2011 model you will understand.
The 09 in the video is not stock and would be able to pull a stock zx14..
Some videos on YouTube I found.. ;]

Not that many people with a stock motorcycle claiming victory.
Even when you achieve it you still get accused of running nitrous..

You are absolutely correct. And with that crowd it would just mean they would become greasy spots on the road even quicker. I don't know why I post anything in response to Hideharder.
