Speedo Healer/Change to16 tooth
Hi,
LOVE THE SPROCKET CHANGE!
Anyone know what the proper % setting change is for changing a 17 tooth front sprocket to a 16 tooth? Hard to do with snow on the ground! I understand every bike is different....but anyone got what it would be anyway?!?!?
Please and thanks,
Rick

Speedohealer, Calibration, Then enter your data
it tells you how to calibrate it from there.

If you want it really correct use a gps to set your speed. Tire size differences will make any other method a guesstimate.

The change to 16 tooth is about 6% and the speedo usually over-reads by at least that much too.
So if you start off with minus 12% you'll be in the ball park and can check it for fine-tuning against a gps.

Thanks guys!
Calculation on the SH website suggests -10.8%....so I'll start there. (Thanks TH1RT3EN)
That was Kind of easy!
BobC you are quite on the mark at the 12%. Ill go with the SH calc of -10.8% for now.
Thanks to all.....
