Yeah. Looks like a couple thin ones will fit.
If I recall there is a open neg/pos connector under the seat somewhere. It has a clear plastic boot on it. Am I dreaming or does this thing exist? Thought it was on the right side under seat.

quote: Hope the project is going fine. I think I would prefer a larger bolt to fit the stock hole in the bottom of the tail. This thing I got is so tiny, it will require a couple washers to keep it from pulling through the stock hole under the tail. hope there is enough thread to admit two washers.
Larger plastic bolt drilled out may work better.

...and I was worried about making them small enough, lol. The led I have is 3mm which I'm trying to fit into a 5/16" plastic bolt. Lemme know, if you can, how a 5/16" bolt fits through those holes your talking about Rook. I was also planning on not using the head of the bolt for the led but rather the shank where it is smooth, then epoxying a thin black rubber or plastic(emission tubing maybe) tubing around the body to keep it from pulling thru, make it black, and also dampen vibrations. I've been working a bunch lately and haven't spent much time on this but I will get back to it soon. I'm not happy with the wire I used in the photos and have been trying to source some thinner magnet wire locally as well.

BTW Rook. Is that one you have made from aluminum?? Kinda looks like a allen bolt which would hold the led nice. It'd be nice to know what size you have there.

I ordered from Mototech Innovation in Quebec.
I will do my best to measure the threads, The nut should be easy to measure flats. It may be an allen screw drilled out a bit and cut ata 45. then drilled through. the LED is just glued in. Nothing fancy but quick and easy.
I'll post measurements later.

The nut is exactly 7 mm between opposite flats or just a hair over 1/4". The hole in the nut looks to be about 3.5 mm or a bit more than 1/8".

Had to use a small washer because the light was smaller thsn the hole. Works well. Justt enough thread left.
