Did a search and did'nt really find an answer but is C16 corrosive like MR9? Can it be left in the tank for extended periods of time?

In the supra community, there are several (weekend cars) that leave c16s in their tanks year round. They treat it no differently then pump. To confirm that, I spoke with a vp rep, and they said their MR fuels are much more corrossive then the C stuff. He said even though they all have the same instructions for storage and draining after use, he said the C stuff is more tolerant then the MR fuels.

No, don't leave q16 in the tank because it's oxygenated.

I had an 88 mkiii with 550whp that I sold to get my zx14. An mkiv (93-98) will be my next car. They can be practically stolen right now compared to what they used to be worth. Nobody has the cash to buy those cars right now. I know a lot about those cars, email me if you have some questions.
Leonidas, you should consider using q16 since you're getting a nice fuel system. q16 will make about 5% more power then c16 because q16 is oxygenated. Since you'll have a higher fuel capacity with your setup, you'll be able to map for the increase in fuel over c16, plus it costs the exact same as c16 (my local distributer told me $78 per 5 gallons for c16 or q16 just yesterday. You have to be a little more mindful as far as storing and draining because of it's oxygenation, but its nothing like mr9.
