Running E85 with 2008 injectors

Anyone running e85 on a 2008 14?
I have run it on the 06 setup with no problems, but I dont think the 08 injectors will handle the amount needed. Has anyone figured it out?
I have tried to search on the site, but I cant find any info.

Thanks,
but I still have a set of the 06 injectors. I was just trying to see if anyone has any info, before I change them out on this bike.
Is there any tuning or performance issues with running the 06 injectors with an 08 computer.

Not that I'm aware of judo drop in and tune. Try out the 08s I'm sure they will flow enough. They have made 260+ HP on my friends bike with a dry kit on it...

The 06-07 injectors flow 430 cc/min and the 08-09 flow 350 cc/min. You can run the 06-07 injectors on an 08-09 bike without any problems.
Just remap it.

Is it a MUST to change them out on an 08 with stock internals to run E85??

NE1???

You only need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

Depending on how good the air is depends on whether the stock injectors will work with E85

At the Texas Mile on Saturday my bike ('06) ran fine, taking me to around 202 mph.

Sunday dawned bright and clear with a DA of under 300 ft. I thought it would be a great day to lay down some big numbers. Unfortunately I got stuck at a bit over 204, as I ran out of injector with the good air.

I too bought the Five-O injectors. They ended up being about 5mm shorter than the stockers. I was told that as long as one o-ring is in the fuel rail, that's good enough.

Fortunately I own a lathe and was able to fix "good enough"

Tom

i had to do some modding to mine to fit in the big fuel rail its a really tight fit because they are just a tiny bit taller than the stockers, and the big rail is also bigger, i had to notch out the frame of the bike just a little to get the rail and injectors to fit...
