GIPRO/ATRE Question

I had a HealTech GIPRO/ATRE installed on my bike, and my stock gear indicator is still working, and working correctly!
Is this normal?
Reason being, is that I thought the GIPRO/ATRE makes the stock gear indicator inoperable and that's why it has a gear indicator.
Any insight to this?
Thanks in advance!

I don't know why you would ask me that because it really has nothing to do with my question or situation, but to anwer your question: I have no idea.
I really don't, because I have never raced my bike, probably never will.
Besides, currently I can't ride it, due to some back surgery that I had back in March.
Speaking of which, I'm having yet another back surgery tomorrow!
It totally sucks, I even lost my job!

I had all of the mods installed over the summer, and haven't ridden the bike at all.
I did have 2 close friends take it out for few short test rides, and they both confirmed the gear indicator issue.

To everyone else, I e-mailed HealTech (they don't post a phone number), about 2 1/2 days ago.
They state that they answer all of their e-mails within 24 hours, so far no response from them, sooooo..........

I ask again, does anyone know the answer to my question, I surely would appreciate any help, any help at all.

I have the GIPro/ATRE (the large gear indicator is nice, but PULL THE FLIES). It has a few different modes, but the default mode is transparent. It doesn't affect the flies, and therefore doesn't affect the factory gear indicator. I don't have manual handy, but you can look it up on their website. To change the modes, you do something like, turn on the key and press and hold the button on the side, or something. Screw that. Pulling the flies is free and results in WAY more power.

Have you read my siggy? lol
The flies ARE out, as I said all of my mods, ALL of them, were put on during the summer.
I figured while I was in the process of healing from back surgery, it was a good time to put all of my bike's mods on, at the same time.

According to HealTech's website, by installing the GIPRO/ATRE, the stock ger indicator won't work.
Now, the GIPro/TRE is is installed, the GIPro/ATRE's gear indicator is working, but the STOCK gear indicator is ALSO working.
My question is, since the GIpro/ATRE should disable the stock gear indicator, why is my stock indicator still working?

What is this button that you are talking about?
I think all of my manuals are still at the shop where my mods were installed, actually, there's a whole box of stuff there!

Sorry, Dude, didn't read the sig line. I checked their website, and they don't have the manual online. I don't have mine handy, so I'm going strictly by memory. There is a recessed button on the side of the unit. The unit has three or four different modes to choose from. Since it fits multiple bikes, only two of the modes are intended for the 14. You press and hold the button to enter programming, then tap the button to select modes. HOWEVER, since your flies are out, there's no need to be in any mode but transparent. The ATRE makes the bike think it is in a higher gear and therefore open the flies earlier. You have no flies, so all the unit is going to do for you is be a large gear indicator, no matter what mode you have it in. In transparent mode, the factory gear indicator works.

I'm curious about something, why do you have the flies out and a TRE?

My answer: I bought the ATRE before I pulled the flies. I keep it because I like the large gear display.

It was purchased a few months prior to install, and also a few months prior from my decision to remove the flies.
