why remove the flies?
This may seem crazy but I'll ask anyway. What is the purpose of removing the flies when the bike doesn't spray anything in them until 7K?
I read that the bike doesn't spray anything in the "extra" flies until the 6th gear map is loaded and then it sprays as 3K and up.

It's simply that the Kawasaki ecu map is like having your garnny on the pillion seat. It won't give you control at low rpm and in the lower gears. The bike seems flat at around 3000rpm.
Remove the 'flies and add some more fuel with a PC and feel the difference. It's like a different bike, particularly on the road for normal riding when you do use some throttle at lower revs. There will be another 30% power at 3500rpm and no flat spot.

What do you mean doesn't spray anything? There is only 1 set of injectors on the ZX14. The extra set of butterflys only controls air intake, it has nothing to with fuel or spraying anything. What happens is the 2nd set of butterfly dont open right away and it strangles the bike. Removing them makes a HUGE difference. The throttle is sharp and responsive instead of mushy and sluggish. It's like a whole new machine. Its like a big electric torque monster that makes power anywhere...
