Error code 24

Stumped with fuel injector error and no speedo.. Despite swapping out the speed sensor and bypassing the speedo healer. Wiring verified up to harness. Battery was weak so it was charged then disconnected overnight.. Not sure what else to do.. Manual states ECU replacement.. Anyone run into this issue

Issue 1 - no speedo despite swapping speed sensor.

Issue 2 - fuel injection error message last week.

Factory manual stated if wiring and sensor verfied then ecu must be replaced.

All set guys - SEARCH feature is awesome..
Went through some old posts and determined there had to be a break in the circuit.. Rechecked the wiring.
Removed the speedohealer and presto - speedo works.. Once the bike reached 20 mph the fuel injection error cleared.

Glad it worked out............Odd... you posted you by-passed the speedo healer.Maybe this is like the ground on the PCIII in wrong location.

I loved the 55 on my bike when I was riding it on the street. It really improved turn in, and make the bike feel more sporty. It's essentially like taking away a rear tooth on the sprocket (going -1) as far as gearing goes. I would go -1 up front if you put on a 55 rear.

Great for turns but not the best profile for drag racing. The taller rear 55 is like -1 tooth on rear or so.
My 14 turns quicker with a 55 series rear. I use a Michelin Pilot Power 2CT 190/55/17

Gilbertjj is right on the 16 tooth front, really helps if you are a 200 pound rider. If you do go with a 16 front.
get the Kawasaki Zephyr 16, it fits the 14 and has the material on each side so all is quiet

-1 on front is like +2 teeth on rear. 16/43 is max for a stock chain that is fully stretched in.
