Only one caliper in the front?
Whats the advantage and disadvantage? how much weight will I lose if I remove one caliper?

pull it, weigh it, and you'll know. Don't forget to yank the rotor as well.
Advantage, less overall weight and loss of rotating mass.
Disadvantage, you might be NEEDING that weight up front

That set up is excellent for Heads up, First to the finish line wins style racing...
If your bracket or index racing then it really doesnt matter if you have 1 rotor & caliper or not...
Its your preference as to how you want YOUR bike set up...

I pulled mine trying to get a 8, and the brakes seem to be ok stopping from 149mph. Me and Erin rode about 200 miles a month ago and i could see it being a problem for a lot of 2 up riders. It stopped everyone as a iasked it too.
