50mm ZX14 Throttle Bodies...

Here are a few pictures as promised of the 50mm throttle bodies that we will be offering soon to complement our Stage 3 big valve CNC ported heads.

These are the first prototypes that will be used for initial dyno testing. We will be playing with different length stacks on the dyno so the final exact design is still open.
The fuel rail is a modified stock one but the production version will have a custom fuel rail.

Its an 87mm x 66mm 1570cc engine, Competition CNC's Stage 3 CNC ported head with 36mm/30mm valves, 450"/415" lift cams, a lot of compression, stock length rods......

Looking for peak power at about 11,600-11,800 rpm.

Can't wait to see what kind of numbrs that monster will make Jim, not only on the dyno but at the strip or LSR event.

Do you think the stock ram air system will be a bottleneck on that beast?

Dan

I dont know just yet, we are making some changes with the spacers, fuel rail, stacks and throttle linkage. Once we dyno test the different stacks and play with the tuning length we will finalize the design and then I will know what they will cost.

We are going to also offer bored out (47mm) stock throttle bodies to complement the stage 2 CNC ported head.
