1/4 mile
1st Busa 10.14
2nd zzr 10.17
3rd BMW 10.51
4th RSV4 10.78
These 1/4 numbers are the only numbers i care about ..
The Busa and the zx14 or zzr at 10.14 and 10.17 are side by side with the Busa maybe a wheel ahead ... The bmw is 4 or 5 bikes behind them ..

excatly rirgh the busa and the zx 14 are neck in neck as always but as
brock davidson said the beemer is hard to launch and that gives us some breathing space
but in the 1/4 mile we still pretty much the man...

damn, that bmw spoils up fast dont it, it also looked like the bmw was like 250 rpms from the red n the hayabusa n 14 where 1k rpms off of the red, dont know how much difference that makes as far as top speed but if the bmw's factory restriciton of top speed on the tested bike is extended a little further than that of the previous too it will have top speed, or maybe i'm just seein it wrong, if i had the 15k for one i would get it, u wont see many of these at ur local bike nights, n dont let em talk bout how ugly the headlights are, the only time they would see the headlights in when we parked, lol

Between busas and zx14 comes only the rider, that is a close call man...

get the slow riders like me away from that bike and put testers on that can handle the unmanageability of the RSV4 and BMW litre bikes.
I didn't look at the article to see if these are bone stock bikes, if they are the bigger bikes should of course have the better launch #'s too. the litre leaners are light as a feather plus SHORTER wheelbase
Even so, the BMW and Aprilia, to have tiny motors and be designed for round race tracks, put on a great show against the big jap engines

of course eventually it all comes down to the rider, but this is a good yard stick, that a rider equpped with reasonabele skills can do. I would assume that the dude ,who testet these bikes is above the average and as far as the most of us are concerned it rerflects the bikes pontential in a farely skilled hands ,yeah?

BTW, I can't find where they put the 'busa they so adored in the litre bikes domain (and compared lap times?)
Well, i dont think there is any question about lap times between a busa or a zx14 against any of the litre bikes, but our rides are more than that anyway...
how can that be when the 14 and the busa are going about 150mph in the quarter mile?
Has to do with the rider skills... Not many riders can jump from one bike to another and get the best out of it ...

I noticed in the video that he short shifed the zx14 in 3 gears while doing the top speed run.... Maybe he did the same in the other tests ?

Whats the intended design of the ZX14 and Busa anyways? Is it dragger? Is it touring? Am i the only one that uses it for commuting, speeding on the freeway and the canyons jaunts?

Also during the tests, not one single bike came up in the air, maybe he did short shift for that reason, but for the top speed test i dont think he had a certain distance he was shooting for, i think top speed was however long it took for the bike to stop pullin

When they tell me the zzr has the worst brakes of the bunch.......somethings not right.
Takes a bit of credibility away from whatever else they say.

Well allot of what they said is crazy. cause i have whip busa ass over and over again. from a dead stop to 60 miles a hour role on. And how in the hell did they tell that lie about the brakes.
