My dyno results

Well a couple weeks ago I went to my local dyno(harley shop) and they tried to say my bike was 18.5 a/f ratio I knew they had a problem with there sniffer but they kept saying nope your bike is that lean. so today I put an innovate LM1 on and data logged the a/f ratio and rpm myself. Well guess what. from 3000 to 11200 the a/f is between 12.7 to 13.1. well my first 08 Busa made 196hp with Brocks pipe and track map and this bike made 197hp with the tsukgi(sp) pipe and ecu flash tune, no pwr commander. the ecu flash is the only way to go for the busa hopefully the 14 guys get this in the near future. I'm also running my air shifter thru the ecu for kill. no kill box needed! And yes I know these numbers are high but threw out the years this dyno reads high but always the same so it's just a tool for tuning. on a side note every 08 busa we put on this dyno will pick up 4 to 6 hp after they hit 2500 miles and mine sits at 1300 right know. weather permitting I will see how she runs next weekend as it's opening weekend for us.

Ya smokin, makes me pretty happy. I did make another map a tad leaner in the 100 throttle column. so i will make a few runs with this map then a few with the leaner one and see which it likes better.

Good numbers Bently...
With the ECU flash how do you tune?
Are you given some software to adjust things?

Ya Nelson all the software is free to download form the net. only thing we do is install a 7.00 dollar harness into the ecu plugs and then 5 of us chipped in on the flash box that was like 180 total. you can do progressive nos control threw it, air shifter, and alot of other things.

LOL ya that way after they hit a guy for 4000 for a big bore in there harley thay can tell them they have 90 hp instead of 80 LOL my last 08 made 196 at that dyno then I drove 45 miles the same day and it made 185 on another dyno. but Like I said I'm not worried about the high reading as long as it always reads high I still know where I'm at.

The key in dyno work is what you improve on that particular day on the dyno you went to.

That is how I look at it.
