Superflow SF-240 Dynamometer...
is the type of dyno the local tuner has who has the best reputation for knowing what he is doing. As I know nothing of dyno's...if i have him do a dyno run is there anything peculiar to this type of dyno that I should be aware of? Is it better/worse than other types? Thanks in advance!

Every dyno can be a liar depending on calibrations and settings. Even if every shop in the country had a DynoJet dyno they vary on calibrations and settings. Its only as accurate as the operator and calibrations.

Super Flow Eddy Current Dyno has options a Dyno Jet use to not have.
A Eddy Current Dyno can hold a steady RPM's as it makes it easier to set
correct air box pressure, compaired to the common Dyno Jet that could only
make a complete run through the RPM range. Super Flow are a lot more $$ too.
What the tuners and exhaust co's Don't publish is the Data sheets that record
How much faster did the exhaust you were testing made it's power. If I remember
it was every 5 tenths of a second it will print O2,CO2, A/F, HP and Torque and
wheel speed.
