I wish -- had full Ohlins suspension on my yammie track ride, but lucked out and got 'em cheap from a guy in the UK that was parting out his blown track bike.........doubt I find a deal like that again for the 14

Could always get the supersport fork kit innards to better the forks -- they go for about $380 or so shipped. Better than stock anyway. As for the rear, I don't know if Ohlins offers a gut kit for them......may be stuck with full replacement for the shock?

I think Race Tech might revalve the shock. Never checked into having the stock shock redone.
I love my revalved forks from GP Suspension. Very good with a big difference between clicks. They arent Ohlins though.
And my Penske shock isnt Ohlins either. Just a hell ofalot better than stock!!

www.hardracing.com <------the best prices in ohlins!

RaceTech, GP Suspension, GMD Comutrac, Penski, all good products and services but Ohlins is the alpha and omega of performance suspensions. I think we can all agree.

Ohlins is top notch for sure but none of them will ever make you a better rider though. They are only as good as the pilot. I cant afford the full on Ohlins so im most likely going to drop by RaceTech to get forks reworked instead and maybe buy a Penske rear shock, the stock one is really too soft for my taste.

Not sure I follow that, the better suspension makes the same rider faster "around" or "down" a track. Thats why we shell out big bux to upgrade to them on our track bikes.

what I am saying is a rider that can't ride is still not gonna ride any better with big bucks forks over stock. The bike or any other component for that matter is only as good as the pilot. If you can outride the stock suspension is when it's time to upgrade then you can be faster. Some people buy these for the bling factor thats all. I hope this clarifies what I meant.

as nice as bobs old bike looks..... why use ohlins suspension when you can't really push it in the corners with that air filter???? Did you remove the filter when riding really hard?
