LOL yea no kiddin, they do suck. The bike only has 3400 miles on it so the previous owner never went through any tires yet. Im ordering some Bstone BT003-RS as i speak. Around the same time my Scotts steering damper should arrive as well.

Try the Michelin Pilot road CT2 for street use. Great in rain, stick good in dry and last 6000
miles.no burn outs. :-)

I had those on my VFR800 before (it came with them) they did not quite hold up well on the 109hp VFR in the aggressive canyon riding so i am thinking i would want to buy as sticky as a bun money can buy since this bike has considerably more power. They felt a little squirrely at full lean (terrifying when it starts to slide). I am not planning on touring with this bike so getting max mileage doesn't matter as much, getting 2-3K miles a tire is fine with me.

I added in a crystal clear led tails, led turnies, and electronic flasher (so it doesnt hyper blink). I hated the stock white tail light, it didnt look right since it didn't match the turnies.

I really should change my name to something else, i called myself SLVR_BLT = Silver Bullet (had plans on buying a brand new 08 Atomic Silver) but i ended up buying a clean used 06 Black one, mainly to splurge the $$ savings to mod the thing instead of staying stock for a while....Oh well

Nice bike.
One quick question, why people hide the tags for bikes posted on the net?
The tags are there for any local thief to track you down but on the net they are hid.

Its easy why, you can run DMV plates on their web, it shows VIN# and city where registered and people walk into dealers to get keys made and drive away with the bike. To me it sort of became a habit because with cars you can easily find alot of info on it. Sometimes i do it, sometimes i don't.

You forgot to change the license number in picture #5. I don't think you have to worry too much here(IMHO).

My point is that It would be easier and much more likely for someone local to get your tags while you were at the red light or parked at work, than for someone 3 states away.
What's the odds of a out of towner stealing your bike?
