The Red Beast has arrived

In a previous thread I described trading in my Silver '07 for a Red '10. I got it delivered to my home yesterday. I've dubbed it 'The Red Beast'. It's still too cold to ride, and there's way to much salt on the road, but today was a great day for a photo session in my driveway. Shane asked to see some pictures of the bone stock bike, so here they are:

The neighbor across the street has a Suzuki cruiser, but his eyes popped out of his head with lust when he spotted my new machine. I could have a convert here!
Front">

Check out the crud on the tire. And that's just from wheeling it from the curbside to the driveway. That's a clear message to wait until the first good rainfall has come and gone.
Front closeup">

She justs gleems in the sunlight!
Side, right">

The snow makes a nice backdrop.
Side, right 2">

Those pipes will be gone soon. Still deciding on what to put on. As for tires, I'll be adding Pilot Power 2CT's in short order. I bought 2 sets, so that should get me through the year.

If you are asking me, then no, I'm in Kitchener, Ontario. I'd love to head to Illinois though. I will be going to San Antonio TX on a business trip in April. I will be renting a Suzuki DL 1000 VStrom to boot around for a couple of days. I wanted to rent their Concours, but it's already booked.

Yes I was. It just looked like illinois with all that snow LOL! I am in northwest illinois and have FINALLY got to ride my 06 red beast the last 3 days. It's only been mid 40's but I just suck it up!

That color is awesome btw! Looks like there are two versions of the red beast color now! LOL!

Pics don't normally do justice to anything that looks really good. Still, I'm quite happy with them.

Although the pic do show an hint of orange, I don't really think there is. If anything, I'd say there is a hint of wine, but only an hint.

When the weather gets really good, I'm hoping some of you from the Northern States can come across the border. There are several 14's around here, and we like to ride together. Look for an invite in May or June.

I had a chance to see your bike in Daytona, and it is beautiful bike very close to my VFR 2007, but tougher.
