Ok back up a bit ...

Fact ...My bike made 169 and the same day jesses bike made 171 .. if you look at the dyno charts i posted jesses bike made 8hp more at 7400 rpms and only made 2 to 3hp at peak ..

Fact ... Jesses bike two weeks before the race this weekend he could only run 149 mph ..Now he has run 155 the same day and same track Hall ran 159 mph

Fact... i made no changes to the bike other than his pipe and revalved rear shock...The shock did Not make him 60 footor 330 any better ...

I believe that HP and TQ jesse got with the CT pipe under peak power is the reason we saw the MPH come up ..Brock told us that under peak power is where we would see the gains..He said Ricky had to adjust to the extra power under peak ..Brock was right , jesse was having a hell of a time riding the bike because of the extra TQ and HP in the lower and mid RPMs .. I saw that first hand on the dyno and the track.. .. Look at Jesses back half numbers , he picked up 32 MPH on the back half ...

You can call me a lier and say i fudged the numbers ..Or we used pump gas two weeks ago and used mr9 this weekend ..Maybe i swapped motors and put in a 1417 motor ... Maybe we hid some spray ....Think what you want .....But i know for a fact that i did nothing to jesses bike other than the CT pipe ..Same fuel , same map , same rider ... The numbers are what they are.. I have allways been open with my mods and posted if the mods that worked and didn't work ..I make NO money off this , i do it becuase i like it ...

The question wasn't whether it is a better pipe...because it is. The question was, is it 5+ mph better? And the answer for most of the free world is no...you will not see 5 mph from this pipe. But who expects 5 mph, really? Even 1 mph at this level is a huge improvement, imo. It's a stock motor (in many cases), and you are only going to see so much gain.

The pipe has more ground clearance than a Shortmeg. When they put it on RG's bike, they also put a lower profile drain plug and shaved the guard, which allowed the bike to sit lower. I believe that was also mentioned. Being able to leave harder is going to pay bigger dividends in ET than a few hp would.
Say all you want Shane ...Jesses bike picked MPH and yours didn't pickup as much as jesses...Just becuase you didn't see a big gain doesn't mean someone else didn't ..ET and MPH has as much to do with the rider as it does the bike ..Jesse small size may account for his seeing a gain and you not seeing a gain

Oh shane someone got DQ for cutting down the drain bolt to get the bike lower ...

Jesse bike is not super sport legal ... It is about 25 to 30 pounds to light for the class ...If it were at 680 pounds like halls bike jesse would not have run 155 ..So you can't compair what Ricky and Hall are running as far as MPH ..Jesse bike doesn't make the HP but it is much lighter ..

Nobody is calling you a liar.

But I'll tell you what...I bought, installed, measured, dyno tuned, and rode both pipes at the track.Same dyno, same track, same bike, same rider. Do you think I made money off of it? Do you think I would try to mislead anyone here?

I'm not saying anyone fudged any numbers. But I'm also saying that nobody should expect to see 5 mph from this pipe. Maybe there were some other strange, unknown factors that contributed to those gains. For example, the tuning, setting the tps...something.

Shane

I thought it was that they had a side mounted bolt? When Brock sold me the CT he sent me pics of the cut guard and the drain bolt that they used. Maybe the rules changed again??

Your right. He should of and will go faster. Jessie doesn't deal with front end lift well. I think he needs a dirt bike or stunt bike to practice wheelies on to help get rid of some of that fear.

Guys,

We stopped for lunch on the way home from the race so I can't go through 6 pages of mess right now.... here's the quick version:

1. Its AMA Dragbike (the name Prostar was dropped 3 years ago….

2. Shane661, please use some of this: [url=http://prostores2.carrierzone.com/servlet/brockracing/-strse-2832/Fuel-System-Treatment/Detail]Fuel System Cleanser[url] that you know for certain that your engine/fuel system is in the proper state to notice all of the gains from your new exhaust.

3. My riders for 2010 include Joey Gladstone, Richard Gadson and Rickey Gadson and they all WON CHAMPIONSHIPS at the Bikeweek Nationals on 100% legal machines. Brock’s riders and crews DO NOT CHEAT. EVER-----PERIOD.

Well Brock, thanks for your input. I have been watching the supersport class closely, as I believe it is the most pure form of drag racing right now (plus it doesn't hurt that the zx14 is very successful in this class ). Congrats on the great success so far. Now, I have a question regarding your systems. Would the Brocks sidewinder make less or more power then a ct, or is the benefit of the sidewinder only clearance? Thanks, Jorgen

I don't think I need to clean my fuel system, since your own charts show no more than 1.5 hp gain on the CT vs. Alien Head, from 7500 rpm up. That is directly in line with my dyno results.

I never mentioned Brocks bikes cheated in SS, I did watch Dragbikelive all day Sunday and the two announcers did say that two bikes were DQed in SS.
