Got a tech problem. Need help
07 14 with all the regular mods. Guy that brought me the bike said he ran the bike until the clutches were totally shot. Bike wouldnt move and the red light came on. I told him only red light is the oil pressure. Anyway started the bike before i changed them. Bike started. So i changed them and the oil. Tried to start the bike and battary was low. Charged it. Bike started and then stalled twice. Then it started back firing. Now nothing. Bike has fuel and spark. No computer code. Plugs were fouled out. Put different ones in. No nothing. I dont think it jumped time but havent checked yet. It did run for awhile for about 5mins before it stalled the first time. I also checked the tip over switch. Checked to see if it had oil pressure. Also put more gas in it. I was thinking if it had a sensor problem the computer would show a code. I need any help on this one.

Check the ground on the power commander.

i do remember there being a recall on the tip-over sensor as well...also the "computer" doesnt always see every code. there are always those phantom issues that its just plain "dumb" to figure out
check tip sensor wiring, oil sending unit wiring (if any), the condition of the stator charging voltage

I dont think i would even work on a bike that someone would purposely run til the clutches wouldnt move it, lol, no wonder the bike has other issues

i've seen it plenty of times at the track on 1000's. The make a pass and end up getting towed back because they stop at the time slip shack and then can't take off lol.

The pump pick up screen might be plugged with clutch stuff. That might be why the oil light came on. No clue why it won't run. Spark, fuel and compression......

thank u shane. Problem solved. The PC ground wire was some how melted in the plastic reservoir. Bad connection. I was actually going to unhook it to see what would happen next. Thanks, thats one more thing ive learned about working on these bikes.
