Well the injectors fire in sequence as does the ignition.
The 14 fires sequentially . I guess you could call it sequential firing.

Another point about 'Sequence fire,' means it fires the plug once. Old style 'multi-fire' electronic ignitions would mimic a set of points which used to fire twice [second spark was on the exhaust stroke].

Cam position sensor is a way of telling the ECU what cylinder (in sequence) is about to fire next once you turned the key off.

the only ignition systems that don't fire in sequence are "waste spark systems" where one coil fires two plugs at the same time but only ignites one of the cylinders at a time, hence the name. sequential fire is a fuel injection term and it means the fuel injector fires once during four strokes delivering enough fuel for combustion at once. previous systems were called "gang bang" and all injectors were fired at once on every stroke but delivered 25% of the fuel. fuel builds up in the intake port so that when the intake stroke comes around and the valve opens there is enough fuel. most sequential systems will revert if the cam signal is lost allowing the vehicle to still be driven and usually the only sign besides the check engine light is worse fuel economy

There are individual maps for sequential. Note that each injector has it's own intake suck to the IAP sensor. One compression suck on that IAP will tell the ECU the pulse suck was not hard, so this one will receive said proportion off that voltage signal.

Batch fire is when you keep spraying more than one cylinder bank [in series] say.

"Brief definitions:
Batch-fire: Injectors are wired together in pairs (“batches”) and triggered in pairs (i.e. Cylinders
1&4 together and Cylinders 2&3 together).
Sequential: Each injector is wired independently with a unique ground, and triggered
independently."

No worries! Dumb questions are supposed to make one smarter. On the other hand dumb answers has the possibility of making everyone who reads it that much more retarded for having read it lol!
