Nitrous solenoid in the airbox

Have any of you guys put the solenoid inside the rear of the airbox when using a spraybar?

I see the Adams system is like that. I already have the spraybar, and I'm thinking of ordering the rest of that setup.

I am doing this on a customer's bike and was curious if it was done before and if there were any problems.

Just for thulought, would you want stuff like that in your air box? What if something vibrated loose (nut, washer) that could be pretty bad. I know nothing about those setup, that's just my first thought

The only hardware that could be a remotely possible problem is the solenoid nut or if the nitrous jets fell out of the fittings. There is no other hardware in there.

The 12 I took in trade for my top gas bike has the solenoid in the air box with a bulk head fitting in the access cover. I know from experience with my top gas bike that solenoids can and do develop leaks. I'm not sure a nitrous leak in the airbox that can't be shut off would be a good thing.

i would never put that stuff in the air box. i have everything but the foggers and half of the lines from the d blocks on the outside( 8 tiny holes in the back of the air box sealed with silicon around the 1/8 ss lines)

How are you guys adding fuel? Sorry for the questions...I haven't paid much attention to the ZX14 nitrous....
I have TONS of nitrous experience.....about 14yrs worth, with my Mustang and snowmobile!

Can we fog the airbox and add fuel via the PC3? Have you guys heard of Holtzman nitrous? The nozzle is regulated, bottle temp is not an issue, ever!

Here's vid of testing the system (making sure fuel is feeding and the nitrous sprays at WOT)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3KyQf6SpWt0

Those two nozzles feed a dyno proven extra 90hp! Motor was 165hp SAE....nitrous 245+ 160ftlbs!!

They each spray 15gram/second of nitrous....each worth 45hp! So one 10gr/sec nozzle for 30hp and the PC adding fuel could be a simple combination.

And believe me, they fog the shit out of that airbox!! I have little side vents added and there is so much nitorus that is sprays out the side vents if their not slid shut!!
