Can the Tsukigi muffler come apart?

I want to try out some different things as far as internal construction. Before I go drilling the rivets, does this thing even come apart without having to be cut?

i mean outside of drilling the rivets? i mean with the D&D pipe i had on my R6 that thing will not come apart at all, and you have to cut that thing down the middle in order to get it apart.

loud pips save lives.

Nothing I'm sure, I'm just one of those guys that likes to mess around with stuff and get it to my liking. I like loud things....cars, bikes, etc.

A lot of my muffler packing eventually burnt out of my tsukigi. I had a shorty muffler and a regular one. The shorty was ok, but I rode with the regular muffler most the time. When I bought it, I was told that the shorty muffler would make more power, but I couldn't tell a difference.....

hahaha, I forgot about this video. Here is my shorty on a dyno. I promised myself that I wouldn't plug my ears when it was getting rung out! I am the guy in the grey t-shirt, and at the end you can see me turn away. It was piercing! This was filmed by Sticks n Stones, and dcjens is the guy smoking.... enjoy

holy bejesus that thing is loud!! i wouldnt make it a shorty though or anything, the muffler is too pretty to just hack up. just take out the packing and run a solid pipe through it. just trying out different things. and if i dont like it then back in the packing goes.

with the shorty it was 164.5. A 2008 zx14 with the same mods, but a muzzy m14 made 164. Sticks somehow made 171 with his m14 on the same dyno. It makes good power though.
