There is nothing happy about a 176 hp ZX-14 running on pump gas...

Before you richened your bike up, we ran the same #'s...in fact you beat me by 1 hp!

Lee, that dyno is far from "happy". Very stingy actually. 1397 Busa comes up short of the 200 mark, as does a 1427cc zx12 sometimes. When I roll my pipe/filter/pc3/stacks zx12 on their you'd think it was a stocker....its low 160s. Its a bit of a dick shrinker for some of the bigger ego guys that like big numbers but I always tell its better to be a "grower than a shower", lol.

Come try my my dyno and see for yourself .. Shanes bike on my dyno will not even come close to 190 ... Shane forgot what i told him on the phone , Before i sent my dyno computer out to dynojet for repairs it read that 177 on ever 14 i dynoed , now every zx14 with the same mods dynos 169 .. Jesses only made 159 with the same mods and map .. Teddy zrx lost 10 hp after the repairs ..

But in order for it to come within 15 hp of Roy, it only needs to make 182.

The #'s at the track are what really matters...so I guess we'll see how things go this year. I know I will be staying stock bore and stroke.

Again shane DIFFERENT DYNO ... Quit Picking a fight with me , go fight Roy ... All i'm doing is posting numberss .. Damn man you act like i'm trying to sell you a 1530 motor .. Again i'm not saying a 1530 motor is the best bang for the bucks ...

I was just saying that if I pulled 190 up here, that I only need to pull 182 on yours to come within 15 of Roy's bike.

Are you trying to sell me a 1530 motor or something?

I'd love to have a big motor, maybe in a year or two..but I'll definitely want the head and cams.

for me 160hp = 5.97 @118 in 2800FT air. Yet my buddy who is the same size and close to the same riding skill has a 187hp busa that will only put down 6.20's @115. Odd :P.

same dyno 2 days apart, both corrected lol. My bike just doesn't put hp down on the dyno. I'm not too worried about it since it runs good at the track and completely rapes his bike from a 65mph roll on the freeway lol.

Dynos make weird reports. First was 235 Hp @ 165 lbs. Next was 250 @ 138lbs weather does make a difference and high altitude screws up the track like no tomorrow. Plus oil dumping cars.
