Here's my new bike

well decided I could not stay away from the track so will be picking this up Next Monday weather permitting. I know some bad comments will follow but I like both the Busa and ZX 14. Of course I will be swaping out the slip ons. and lowering it but going to stay stock wheelbase and set my goal at a 9.20 something. Will probably do the ecu flash instead of pwr commander. now I just need a track about 12 hrs away so I can go run in March sometime. Still plan on posting here as to many of you guys are into drag racing for me to leave. Good group of guys on this board!

By stock wheelbase you mean 10 over mac arm, and by 9.20 you mean 8.80 right? :P. That thing should run at least 165 mph in the 1/4 with the setup it has right now .

Just messing with you buddy. That's a pretty bike. black out the lights, slam it, and slap a pipe on it and you've got a low 9 second bike for sure .

Nope really am staying stock wheelbase! Want to really work on my riding this next year. Yes i feel it was a great deal. Bike is mint with those slip ons which are 800.00 not that I will keep them, also came with new hjc helmet i will sell and a new joe rocket jacket, service manual, suzuki bike cover, gel seat and stock seat, fender elimantor and sure theres something I'm forgetting. for 7800.00 has 1238 miles on it. and yes we are really having a bad start to our winter here, we could see another 19 inches of snow by friday. with ice mixed in. And thanks for the comments. I've alwasy said both bikes are great. I just hope it's not 9 yrs before the 14 or busa is updated the way this economy and bike sales are.

Nice bike Bently!!!! You must like that color(I do too) because if I remember correctly you bought that same color scheme before... Also do you have a suggestion for lowering the front while still keeping it rideable on the street. I know that applying dog bones on the back will allow you to set the heighth but I wanted your input on the front application

Nice Bike Bently..... SWB is the way to go..... Its so much fun running along side the stretched bikes. Cant wait to see it slammed and piped.... I'm sure you will be able to get down into the 9.2's maybe even a teen if you head south for the winter.

Depends on what you mean by streetable? You can either cut the forks or slide them up, both will take away from the way the bike handles theres really no way around it. But lowered in the front and rear still out handles 64 inches!
