Setting on Speedo Healer
I changed my gearing to 16/43 a month ago and added a speedo healer. I read multiple posts on the calibrations and went to the web site to calculate as well. I found that setting mind to -14.9 made the speed indication spot on but my gear indicator gives a lower gear displays when I'm in gears 4-6. When I gets to 4, it reads 3, when I click to 5, it reads 4, and when I get to 6, it reads 5.
Now I know technically what gear I'm in but it just bugs me that this happens. How can I fix this but keep my speed display accurate?

Put a piece of black tape over it & pretend it's not there, that's what I do for my "check engine" light on my truck!

What was gear ratio before you changed to 16/43?

I've got the same problem. I use a GI-Pro gear indicator to fix it. Easier to see.

I used GPS to set my 16/43 gearing and it got set at -12.9, and my gear indicator is still spot on. I don't know why yours did that; weird.
