Oooh that's right you had an 06! I think that could be it. The 06 had the problem?
Oh well it's still a zx-14 that's all that matters lol!

Does grinding a corner off interfere with the gear indicator on cluster?

If it does not, I think I will go 16/43, grind a corner, and call it done. I emailed muzzy concerning the bonneville pro with no response. If the speedohealer screws up the gear indicator, well thats not going to work either for me.

I have a speedohealer and not a single issue with it messing with the gear indicator.
