changed front cog /clutch not engaging

Hi guys , I'm not very good mechanicaly but tackle the easy jobs.
I just changed my front spocket over and now when it is on a rear stand with the clutch in and in gear the back wheel still turns .
should I just undo the three bolts on the clutch cylinder and pull that out then put back in?
I am sure I didnt touch the clutch lever when it was apart.
I did this job once befofe and it all went smooth.
Help ,as I'm racing tommorow morning!!!
I'm standard wheelbase and changing back to standard 17 tooth as I'm having trouble launching. thanks

Does the clutch lever have good pressure? Did you try putting it in gear while the bike is on the ground?
Sometimes the oil gets between the plates and makes the wheel turn even thoulg the clutch is engaged.

I took the whole cover back off , replaced it ,still the same.
Its on a rear stand but full pressure with my foot doesnt stop the wheel turning.
The clutch lever does feel a little soft.
Bloody stressin!!

Read the manual and it looks like I undid the bleed valve.
I know my memory is stuffed and should have started back at the manual

I think the system sucked some air somehow .Try bleeding the clutch a bit and see if the pressure comes back.

If that don't work try applying the rear brake and see if it unsticks the clutch.

I had never won anythink in my life and to cap it off it was our biggest meeting of the year.

Thanks guys ,Hopefully I will get lucky again?
Dont know if you have heard of Steven Bradbury, but he is an Ozi ledgend!
He got an ice skating gold medal when EVERYBODY in the race fell 20 meters from the finishline and he went from last to gold medal!!!!
It was Australias first winter olympics medal and he is as popular as Ned Kelly.
He lives on junk food and loves nothing better than living in his car on extended surf trips.
