LSL vs Convertibars

Looking into getting one of these kits. Has anyone tried both? Pro's or con's of each?

I have the Genmar risers already but am wanting something more upright.

The convertibars say you have to raise the forks a half inch but not the LSL right? Otherwise they seem to offer similar benifits, but without beeing able to try them out first I'm having trouble deciding which ones to get.

i use to have convertibars on a cbr 1100xx:great product lots more adjustements than LSL .if you instal the clip on part of the convertibars below the triple clamp you dont have to raise the fork.(little more work).

I'm ordering the LSL kit after several weeks of debating. I've talked with many 14 owners and have come to the conclusion that if total comfort is what your after then the LSL kit is the only one on the market that offers sit up comfort.

I have the LSL and love it. With Buell pegs it works so much better if you are tall. The AN1
bars are like Old School Super Bike bars. I wish now I would have installed the AN2
they are a little taller but the throttle lines and clutch line is at it limit with the AN2 bars.
Beautiful top CNC triple tree clamp, no more leaned foward on long trips :-).

Cons.......... if you like to run top end the bars are wider than stock. It takes a bit of
moving the cables and wires around to clear everything but it does. Not a cheap upgrade,
but worth it. Made the 14 a different bike on the open road.
