Brake line/Zx10 fender conversion
I am in process of getting ready to do the Zx10 fender conversion. Got a set of Lyle's brackets and have a used zx10 fender coming from ebay. While taking off the fender on my 08 14 today I noticed the little round pain in the ass clips that attach the front brake lines to the 14's fender. I dont ever recall what anyone has done about the reattachment of those hoses on the zx10 conversion.
Any advice?
Cheers

Its been so long I can't remember, but i am sure i wouldn't have used them if i didn't need them PITA .
Also I had stainless dual line kit....
I am sure you will easily figure it out when the time comes, the zx10 fender has holes for those clips

My advice is to get Spiegler stainless steel lines- you
will be able to route them around the fender and tire without
any worry of them rubbing or making contact where not wanted.

I thought spiegelr doesn't sell a dual line setup? or just the single into dual?

I have the Spiegler LSL bar kit with the Billet top triple tree for old school bars and
my braided SS lines are a single from the master and then one goes to the front
right side caliper and a second SS line to the left side caliper and my ZX-10 fender has the
hole drilled for the eyelet to push in to keep the line from rubbing the fender.

You're right- and it's easier to route the short slave line from the
brake side to the clutch side caliper over the tire without worrying
that it will rub. The 10 fender doesn't extend as far back and the
line to the clutch side just archs over the tire but is sturdy enough
and you don't need any added support when routing it.

The spiegler lines look great but I dont plan on doing that for a while. What I am looking for is what people have done with the stock lines? Leave them hang free or try to use the push pin holes on the '10 fender?
