Durrani Wheels...Opinions Please

Anyone used or seen these wheels in person? They cost $1598 for the pair. I am considering these wheels as replacement for my heavy stock chromed wheels. Durrani front = 7.4lbs and rear = 10.6lbs. It should save a total of approx. 13 lbs plus the chrome. They only show ZX6 wheels, as I recall the 07-09 ZX6 wheels are swap for the 07 ZX14 (can someone confirm this for me). Assuming they will swap anyone have comments...

the front zx6 wheel is a fit, not sure of the rear though

You are rolling the dice. Durrani said they were available two years ago and nothing. Better off with CZ Carrozeria wheels. Proven forged wheel CNC machined to fit a 14. LSL

I beleive someone bought a pair on gixxer.com I seldom go there will see if i can find the post if i'm not spammed to death will post the details it seemed positive if i recall.

All the delays they had with the inital hype I dunno I would deal with them

Now for the qoute...

Use common sense and they will be fine. I have 7 years on my Marchesini Forged still holding up just fine. Know of many folks that have them no problems, yes have seen the web after a rider hit a curb at speed but your OEM wheel is going to be fucked too.

Best mod I ever did.

My friend had a pair of marchesni forged on his busa. They were resurfacing the roads in town, and he cracked his on the 3" pavement rise where the new pavement was laid over the old. my factory rims were still straight and true....

I guess I have no common sense.

I am looking for aftermarket wheels as well. I think someone said got the Carrozeria's for $1300 delivered. The best deal I found on them was $1475 delivered. Let me know if you find a better deal.

The Carrozeria wheels are nice wheels. I have a set in anodized black that I got from 58cycle about 3 or 4 months ago. They were running a sell at 1400 a set free shipping, not sure about now though. They shaved a good amount of weight off to, good improvement to cost in my opinion.

The Carrozeria set is around 10 lbs. lighter than the oem zx14 wheels.

They are not on the best side of lightweight as far as the aftermarket goes.
