GPS mount idea

If anybody can use the info I took a 1 1/2 X1" PVC bushing, wrapped it with electrical tape a few wraps and was able to push it into the left fork tube and sticky a GPS attachement disk to the top of it and have a mount for.. a GPS . redneck maybe but it's a short mount that works well up to 140 mph and is stable without vibration ~Dj

Techmount is the way to go. My friends and I all have them and won't have anything else. They are easy, funtional, no modifications required and may be removed when not in use.

Garmin still offers the ZUMO 550, but they have came out with a ZUMO hmmm "650" I think that is motorcycle and cheaper. It doesn't allow for the XM Satellite option is the only difference.

I seen it at the Garmin store in Chicago while shooping the Miacle Mile with a special friend. Its a SWEET unit, slightly smaller, still rainproof to 3 feet of water and such

Might want to check it out

My zumo is leading the hi-mile 600RR to the NC Apple Festival in Hendersonville for some mountain bluegrass music today

I picked up a Garmin 760 for $75 perfect shape at a pawn shop with several features that come in handy. I SO wanted to turn it on briefly In the jet while headed to Denver last week to log in a "top speed" of a few hundred mph but decided not to because of the transmit and recieve policy while in flight. something about the bike being under 3ft of water can't be good...

haha! yeah the ZUMO's are made for that extreme to insure no matter how hard it rains, it won't fail. Also they are most corrosion resistance because of those specs.

You may not have seen satellites from the inside of the plane anyway nothing lost there

post pics when you get it set up on the 14 please
