Yeah, I really like the looks of it. I bet it is very, very lightweight also.
Really, really nice!

I'm thinking that Brock said like 8.5 pounds Shane.
By far the best pipe I've ever seen as far as fit & quality, it rivals AK's as far as welds and no doubt to us that it makes power.
Brock did his homework as far as ground clearance.
The boys feel like it was a very good purchase and they both value a dollar!!

The header clearance seems to be improved with at least 1" from
what I can tell from the 2 pic comparison.
At 8.5 lbs. there isn't any weight advantage compared to the short meg or Alien Head
since you need to use a hanger or the stock passenger peg bracket as a mounting
point.
On looks alone the new exhaust is awesome!

I like the way it looks! Why didn't one of you go with the TiWinder? Also Zack may want to change that stock oil pan! I'm sure you know that you can order one from OSR.

here's an idea cut the CT SERIES EXHAUST so it is the same length as the short meg & alien head. then you would'nt need the exhaust hanger or stock passenger peg bracket.

No need to cut a $2K brand new exhaust, they'll have a shorty version soon!

I really like the TiWinder but when we are not racing we are at Deals Gap a lot and the TiWinder would drag to easy.

The powerband for the CT is better than all of Brock's other exhaust, just go to his site, he has all of the Dyno charts to compare.

Yeah, but be sure to look at the a/f ratios throughout...they are not close at all through the midrange, where the greatest gains are shown.

I was thinking the same....Brock and his team wouldn't sell as many of these new systems unless there was more power....in which you'd think they had already extracted the absolute most they could with previous systems??!!
Exhaust technology couldn't have changed since the intro of the SMEG, could it????
P.S. the dual system will find itself on my bike next season if I still have the bike!!!

So you are saying the a/f ratios were played with to make the new pipe look better than it really is on the dyno?

I'm not saying anything except that the a/f ratios appear to be different where the midrange peak is. That can have an effect on the #'s, so it should be considered when you look the charts. I doubt someone is trying to skew the results...or they would not have published the a/f #'s. I'm not even sure that the pipe might not make more power with a little more fuel...only Brock could answer that.
Obviously the pipe is making very good power, based on the track results..

I can't post the slip I got from Brock here at work, but this is from a test they did back on April 4th at Atlanta, his mph isn't what the guys who started this post are saying, it could be they are lighter weight than Rickey.
60' 1.485
330 3.879
1/8 5.840
mph 125.60
1/4 8.994
mph 154.63

That's still flying, 29 mph back half is very good. More likely, the weather conditions could account for some of the difference in mph. ET is the name of that game...the mph and ET do not always go hand-in-hand.
As we all know, you can sometimes run a high mph, but a slower ET. Or vice-versa.
And yes, these guy are probably lighter than Gadson...
