Has anyone had any experience with a super charger on the ZX14 engine? I am trying to find out about the pros and cons of these units.

I know that TTS in the UK make a kit for the ZX14 using the Rotrex supercharger, also Procharger seem to have some very neat blowers.

GT Motorcycles have got the first Supercharged 14 that TTS built in their showroom. I don't think it's particularly powerful, maybe another 50bhp or so, we haven't run it on the dyno' yet. It's also uncomfortable to sit on as the blower pipework exits backwards and your right shin is up against it. Maybe this was changed for subsequent installations? Apart from the blower the bike is stock.

It hasn't been run at the track as it would be in the same class as the turbo bikes which make more power but I reckon it would easily exceed 200 with the right gearing.

I Googled his name and looked up his web site. Awsome His current racer

only has one engine that makes 1000 HP or so. I remembered R.C. Engineering

had two Honda S.O.H.C. 750 inline four engines wired like a V8 with a belt driven super charger back in the Day... :-) was Top Fuel Low E.T. for 9 Years or so. 199.55 MPH in 1980.
He was pissed he never broke 200 in the 1/4. Vance and Hiines were kids wotking for him.
Terry Vance drove for him after Russ quit ridding. Damn I was just a kid back then :-)
