Just picked up 5 qts. not cheap! (10 bucks a qt .). But I think he said if I want a case it would 8 ea. There seems to be alot of people selling it around here, so it might be cheaper from someone else.

$8 a quart is pretty reasonable. It is $36+ for 4 quarts of Repsol synthetic around here.

Hey james'' I am fielding two 14's in dragbike next season'' one in Supersport and the other in real street or what ever class this and super street end up being. I am going to try the ams oil so i figure i will get with you and see if they offer a lighter weight oil for bike appl, I am not to concerned about the one bike but in supersport we need any gain we can get where we can get it. I plan on building two motors for the supersport bike one is finished and will start tuning when it slows down here. The 2nd is to try different tune ups. I have used the zero wt, oil and don't like what i see on the brgs and don't trust it to run a full season on what is basically a stock motor. Let me no what your thoughts are good or bad. Thanks......................................Bill

Hey Bill, Sounds like your real busy. Amsoil has the 10w30 motorcycle oil that Smokin has tested with great clutch grab, still waiting on his end of test results, then he has some 5w20 Dominator racing oil he'll be testing next. I expect good results out of that oil also. How soon will you be trying the oil? Once we fulfill our obligations with the by monthly giveaway after October we'll send you some for testing. You never know, email the boss your bikeland name and it might be your name we pull out of the bikeland bucket hat. No one has applied for it yet.
I'm back on the ship for a month. Tressie would be happy to hear from you.
Thanks

James

Yes I said that and on my bike it stopped it 100%, but I will say the Suzuki oil I've been using was working great as far as clutch life, after 137 runs on the suzuki oil and about 15 on the amsoil I pulled the clutch to inspect it this weekend and the fibers look like new with no discoloration and the steels have very few hot spots. so the clutch went back in!

Still quiet on cold start? Bill is waiting on the machine shop to do the mods to the 12 CCT.

Yup, really it never rattles at all now I'm shocked myself but that's the truth. we will see how the clutch continues to look after a few more weekends!

A year or two ago I use to buy from a guy what worked for Amsoil, hope I recall that correctly. I'd buy 8 qts and 3-4 filters in a carton, and I thought the price was pretty reasonable. <$8/qt adding in filters and shipping.

He was on the 109 site:

http://www.m109riders.com/forums/index.php

and called himself 'Oil Doc' or something like that.
