Scorpio Alarm - SR-i900

I just purchased a used Scorpion Alarm unfortunately I did not get the factory conector and the instructions are not only very generic but they (in my opinion) suck!

Does anyone have any pictures of there instal or any advise to give me in reference to placement of components or what wires I should be cuting into (or if I should just bite the bulet and order a harnes from the factory).

Cheers

Get the harness. Cheap and easy to install.

If you want the blinkers to flash and the ignition kill hooked up you'll need to do a lot of cutting. If you don't need those extra's its very easy to hook up, the only wire you need to splice into is the license plate light wire. The power and ground go directly to the battery. If you get the plug in harness the wire the directions say plugs into the taillight will actually plug into the license plate light connection, thats a misprint for the 14. You'll still have to cut a wire for the ignition kill though. I skipped the blinkers and ignition kill because I like things simple..less to go wrong

Wait a month and I will let you see how mine is hooked up, I used the factory connectors though. I would go and get the factory harness though Big K. Order the harness and I will hook it up for you when I am back.

Thanks for your help.

The factory connector kit and the AC charger for the remote are now on there way (the guy I purchased it from just forgot to pack it).

Thanks for the thought Maverick (aka.. Makenna)… I have given JP a call so I can take a look at how you installed his. As it stands I am thinking the hole thing should go under the seat… the other option is under the tank (no room and would effect signal strength) and under one of the panels up front (no room with the PC on one side and the HID Ballasts under the other side).

If ur like jme, ur gonna like that 900 bing automatic and all. Put on a keyless ignition, and you can 'about' leave your key in your pocket.

Sorry Wee I wasn't clear...with the factory connector kit everything plugs in but the anti-hijack module, you still have to cut a wire for that. And you don't plug into the tail light connector, you plug into the license plate light connector, its a 2 wire connector up by the charcoal cannister near the tank.
