Good luck with that.
I had a motion pro wrench, which has two different sizes, one on each end.
I wound up taking the rear tire off to get a good grip on the spanner nut, because I had to jack it up allot. If the nuts not to far down on the shock, you may be able to get a few turns in there with the wrench. Or you could simply whack the nut around with a long punch and hammer. I don't like doing it that way, mucks up the nuts and looks ugly. You will have to use the long punch to loosen the jam nut above, at least I had to on mine, it was way tight.

I have been using a 1/4in x 1in piece of aluminum flatbar as a punch to adjust the rings. With a lowered bike you really cant hardly get on it with a spanner.

+1 or a long brass round bar stock as not to mark spanner nut.
The factory calles it a hook wrench :-) part# 57001-1522...... pull of chain guard
and rear foot peg and see if a spanner/hook wrench works this way with rear tire still on.

Just take off the right rearset to get to it.

That's an idea I'll have to try. I was planning on just sticking a floor jack under the bike and dropping out the shock from below to adjust it.
