Braided brake and clutch lines

Is there a noticeable advantage and benefit to changing to braided lines from stock rubber lines.? Performing the first fluid flush and looking for some recommendations.

I like a solid, tight lever, with little play, just enough for expansion.
Stainless lines just get it that much closer to perfection.

The 14 already has some of the best brakes in the business BTW.

Spiegler makes the best brake lines IMHO.

NeverKnow, I did the full Speigler braided kit front, rear and clutch. If you have risers it worth getting an extra inch or two added to your upper front brake line that goes to the lever. I only have heli risers and it was kind of a pain in the ass to run that line at stock length that came with the kit. Also you might want to request a new double banjo bolt that matches the color you select. The Speigler kit did not come with one and I had to re-use the stock. When installed and bled the lines feel great.

In additon to that, you can get different color end fittings to make a better color match to your bike along with the security of eliminating expansion under the extreme braking pressure. The lever feel remains consistent. I have them on my 14. Lov'um!

I wish a had a good pic of my buddy's 08 zx10 with the Galfer lines... and the banjo bolts that started rusting in a couple of weeks. Rust looks really nice next to the BST wheels he just got

I have the black brake and clutch lines with the red fittings- like this... wet pic here

No, I believe you,

Mine never corroded though.
Cleaning up any brake fluid asap, and a quick wipe with WD40 is important though.
Even the slightest film will eat shit bad.

Advantage of braided lines is no brake fade or "squishy" feel after repetitively going into turns hot and hard on the brakes. I've used most all the brands, speigler are my favorite followed by goodrich.

Galfers are on one of my bikes now and they're ok, but most of the galfers I've had rusted and the plastic shield on the lines fades in the sun.

the rubber factory lines are JUNK for high performance braking, no matter how good the brakes are on a bike.
