PCV and Auto Tune

Has anyone installed a autotune on their pcv. installed mine today and it does not seem to work. Does the red light suppose to flash all the time? When I push the button next to the red light to test the o2 sensor nothing happens and the red light flashes continuously when I turn the key on. also I get a 9.99 AFR in my pcv software the instructions state that this means I don't have autotune enabled or I don't have the can elimination plug installed. but auto tune is enabled and the plug is installed. Any thoughts on this?

Did you handle the 02 with your bare hands and not by the harness or body, but not the part that goes in the exhaust? The body oil can short a bad signal.

I would think ground is connected to both units if the red is flashing. So, first guess is the 02, second is hardware is not communicating with hardware. The software works is it shows blinking red for a warning, I would assume it is asking to check the plug fitting or wire out of the harness kind of like that hard communication signal.

did you put the terminator plug in the unused port of the autotune? the cap from the pcv is not the same. gotta use the one that came with the autotune.

yes the termination plug is installed and I didn't handle the o2 sensor tip with my hands. I think the button next to the red light maybe stuck, because I don't feel any detent when I push it in as if it's already pushed in.

Does it flash in order to indicate that the o2 sensor is warming up?

no it just has a slow constant flash all the time when I turn the key on. When I push the button on the autotune module to test the o2 sensor the light does not pause or speed up it just keeps flashing at the same rate that it flashes when I first turn the key on.

What did you ever find out? I have one doing the same exact thing on an 09 CRF450R. I can't figure it out.

Slow blinks on the Autotune indicate that the sensor is not warmed up. This is usually due to a poor 12v source or bad connection.

I solved my chronic cold sensor issue by connecting the O2 sensor heater + wire to a completely different switched power source. I tried moving the WB2 power to different places and even tried connecting to the same place as the WB2, but my sensor went cold all the time. I had moved the power tap right off the back of a 10 Amp wire for the ignition coming from the back fuse box, with only mildly better results. Originally had the WB2 powered off the license plate drop with no light sharing the same feed... it was slightly worse there but basically the same. It was frustrating to say the least.. I called Dynojet and I got the impression they have not seen this issue.. yet here several of us are having this issue.

Pull the grey wire coming off the O2 sensor harness from the back of the Autotune, and connect it to a different switched 12v source. Bet your issue goes away.

On mine, when the power to the O2 sensor heater is supplied through the WB2 my O2 sensor goes cold constantly. Power for the heater tapped elsewhere and it's golden.

BTW.. the AT-200 and WB2 are the same unit to the PCV. I have one of each. They look mostly identical except different wires coming out. The AT-200 reports as a WB2 in the PCV software. I can't prove it, but I'd bet they are exactly the same internally and just have different wires poking out and a different sticker on the outside.
