Pingel elect. shifter

Anybody have knowledge of a comparison between a Pingel elect. shifter with a Dyna Shift Minder and a light set at your choice of rpm and kill time telling you when to push the shift button and an air shifter? Any bad experiences getting a Pingel to function as desired? My installer is having a great deal of difficulty getting a new Pingel to function well.

My Pingel worked great as long as you were not spraying the motor. It would miss shift or not shift when we added the spray bary. Under heavy load it just could not shift the bike in 3rd and 4th spraying. normal riding it worked like a champ.

The Pingel looks like a very cool product, almost bought one but instead went with a HM quickshifter... I am still considering an air shifter with auto shift box in addition to, or in place of.... If you are tooling around the street the Pingel sounds like a cool product, if you are drag racing an air shifter is probably the way to go...

My friend had a Pingel electric shifter on his Goldwing trike works flawlessly for what he needs/uses it for cant beat it on the street and it down shifts as well. No idea how it will work on a drag bike. I have an air shifter on mine.

Maybe the Pingel can't shift well on a boosted/sprayed high performance bike? My C-14 is turbocharged. Anyone else have this problem with a Pingel?
