Two mil pistons,lightened/balanced crank, carpenter head and cams= 221hp with a good tune. Bike runs 850's 158 and runs it on the street everyday. I haven't used the new head bob was working on a while back but its bigger yet then the ones i use of his. I am putting one on a 3x5 soon and will report back the difference of the two...........................Bill

That's a hot motor even in std ratings, on average most of them i have dyno'ed give 175 179 hp with bolt ons. This actual hp of course on a super flow. As with any dyno'' its a tool the real test is on the road/track. ............................Bill

Yea'' that's a god motor build. Who ever built it did a good job is all i meant. The 14 head is tricky and you need some decent knowledge of flow characteristic's or these heads are best left alone. .............Bill

You don't even need to do engine work to get 185hp.
My 09 did 181hp / 104tq SAE with just PC-III, BMC Race, M10 + M14.
I'm sure with ram air it's easily 185 on the road. Spend some Dyno tuning time, lil bit of mods and yer looking at perhaps 190.

All 185 hp motors are not created equal. The real test is on the track, not the dyno.
