Home Made Stainless Chain Guard w/Pics.

Being bored on a rainy day and having a sheet of Stainless handy, I came up with this. Using the stocker as a rough guide I drew the general shape onto the sheet steel and cut it out using a "metal" blade on a jigsaw. Bending was achieved with a lead mallet
, bench top vise and wooden blocks. Once completed, I polished it to a mirror finish with a buffing wheel on my bench grinder. Opinions?

i'd take my chances with the plastic before i have sharp edges from stainless flying at me
