Willie,
Just slow the ramp over time, it will be much easier to control, and will not need to shortshift, start off slow and work your way up to what ever the track, and your wheelbase will allow!

It was great speaking with you on the phone BTW

Can you take pics of your instal?
Anything to save me a little time would be most appreciated.
If you don't want to post them, maybe you could email them? Then I can call you one night and go over things with you?

I run one on my bike. Are you runing GPS, time, or shift mode? Just slowly ease your boost up in each gear and when the front end of your bike starts to come up start ramping how fast it allows the boost to flow into your bike...Also remember when you keep your boost flowing in your bike you can run alot more boost per gear. If you roll into 18 lbs in 3rd gear your bike will react wildly, but if your coming out of 2nd gear and you have 12 lbs already built up in your system you're only packing on another 6lbs instead of slaming your bike with 18lbs all at once.

YOU'RE GOING TO LOVE 400+ HP. I KNOW.

I am new to the ams1000, and you are further ahead with with it than, I

But I can tell you from all the research I have done, the serious drag racers run the the thing off regulated pressure from co2 or nitrous bottles, and they run it in time based progression down the track, not gear based.
They are often backing off the boost near the back end to maintain traction

I ran mine off of the C02 from the airshifter. I always did better at the track useing the time based mode. I left on the spring (4lbs.) and started the timer with the clutch switch. I had to read the instructions several times. It can do a whole bunch of stuff. The boost scramble is also nice.
