Brock is MIA
Hey what's going on Brock? Where are you? FOr the past few months we have been waiting for Power and Torque numbers for the 08 zx14 & zx10r. I'm from the south but man it can't possibly still be cold up there in OHIO.
We begged through this site to Kaw to give you a new 08 ZX14 and we haven't heard anything yet. Leave that BUSA alone for a little while.
NO disrespect I'm sure you a busy man. Just feel forgotten about.
And Lee needs a pipe for the zx10r..................He really needs a Pipe
Give us some info...............................PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anybody ready for some more BROCK INFORMATION?

I'm sure he's working hard. Just haven't heard any information as far as the HP and Torque numbers of the 08 zx14 compared to the 08 busa that we all have been waiting for. That was a hot topic since like October but if anyone remember he was like it was very cold out and didnt want to put all miles on the 14 through the dyno. I'm notin Ohio but its 80 sumthin here in Texas. Its got to be warm enough to have gotten some miles on it.
Waiting to here some more chronicles. Plus the zx10r has no information out
Ol Smoky is trying to help here but he can only get soo far with a mufflerless bike.
Just anxious to see the straight up number of the Brock tuned 14 to Busa from a reliable source.

Yeah I am from Denver and it 30 here also so I would like to see those #'s also. I know what mines pulled off the dyno but I have a lot of altitude to deal with.

Let’s see…where to begin,
1. We moved from 3 different locations scattered around the city into a single 10,000 square foot building in November 2007 after the World Finals where we raced the Chronic the 08 Busa (FYI: It ran an 8.91@156MPH that I have also yet to publicly post, so Suzuki/fans probably are not very happy with me either).
2. Due to local red tape, we were unable to begin renovations until late January 2008 to get our new warehouse in order before the March-July rush. FYI: We scrapped 26 tons of metal removing previous equipment (old in-ground car dynos) and poured several loads of gravel and concrete inside the warehouse. I personally worked 12-16 hour days every day including weekends from Dec-March.
3. Our new dyno/room was near top priority, but was still not operational until the first week of February. It didn’t really matter, as we were too busy to run it, and there was no track open to test after dyno tuning anyhow.
4. We attended the Dealer show in Indianapolis with a full display twice as large as our first ever display in 2007.
5. We are obligated to attend every AMA Dragbike race in 2008; we have attended 3 so far and Black Bike week in Myrtle Beach, and it’s still MAY.
6. D2 arrived in the snow and it KEPT snowing until late MARCH at which time the snow turned to rain--until about 2 weeks ago.
7. D2 arrived brand new with zero miles. Believe me, no ZX-14 owner wants me to post the dyno or track results with low miles on a 14. In fact, most 14’s don’t loosen up and act right until between 500-1000 miles and D2 seems to be no exception.
8. We now have around 350 DYNO miles (any idea how long that takes?!) on D2 because we are not allowed to ride it on the street (it’s not our bike, it belongs to Kawasaki). It makes more power than my 06 ZX-14 did with the same miles and about the same as the 08 Busa does now, but until it has more miles—it would not be fair to post any results.
9. D2 has run 9.16@152MPH with a 160 lb rider (Sonny Kershner) at my local track, on the same day he ran 9.08@155MPH on Chronic. As stated, the bikes make almost the same HP on the dyno but D2 is down 3 mph (see note 7)
10. March and April (looks like May also) were 40-50% higher sales months than our previous record months.
11. Oh yea, needed to come up with a completely new 08 ZX-10 system also since NOTHING is even close to fitting from the older 10s (Lee, your pipe is in my hands, and we will be mapping tomorrow
12. One last note--my previous warehouse manager was just ARRESTED for unethical business practices and is facing felony theft charges related to stealing from my business…I can’t comment any more on that subject due to legal ramifications. I’ll let you know more after the P.O.S. is locked up.
……I think that covers most of where I have been….
Please remember that as much as I want to be a full time source of information to give speed junkies their fix, at the end of the day I am a business owner with employees with families, etc…
I will get to the full non-bias results as soon as they exist.
Thank you for understanding,
Brock

Hey Guys,
I SINCERELY apologize for the delay in bringing you the 2008 Busa vs. 2008 ZX-14 tests.
We have run into nearly every conceivable conflict imaginable…but the end results are on the horizon!
Here is a little info on the test criteria:
1. Completely Stock vs. Stock …..very little covered because the other mags have already done it and WHO CARES?! No one leaves their new bike alone and we are no exception.
2. All bolt-on mods. Very simple—plug and play or NOTHING—just like most guys do themselves.
3. No trickery or uneven testing. Example: no added ballast to prevent wheelies.
4. Positively set-up as close as possible. Example: drained fuel from both bikes completely and then added exactly the same measured amount of fuel to each from the same unopened container for drag strip and dyno testing.
5. Matching product on each bike: EXACT same exhaust system/fuel/tires/chains/fuel injection control/sprocket mfg. /stabilizers etc.
I’ll let you know more soon,
Brock
