You haven't ran a bazzaz , so you don't have a clue.
For quick updating it seems it is superior, cause I can click my laptop quicker then the auto tune updates...
I sold mine beecause I am running 8 injectors on my turbo with microteck standalone and already have an AFR, as well as 10 other parameters to moniter and data log including 4 EGT probes through my innovate equipment.
Fuck off already LOSER

Dubious is right on about the bazzaz. We have been tuning an 08 busa with one and after 1 1/8th mile pass it will suggest changes to make. it works in the 1/8th and 1/4. We have taken the bike from 147 to 152 in the 1/4 and it all came from the tuning as the rider is consistent from 1 pass to the next. If I was going to purchase a unit today it would be the bazzaz. also controls all 8 injectors with out an add on. really so simple to make the changes don't see where the auto tune would be that great. I've been told it will not update fast enough in the 1/8th or 1/4.

None of those webpages say exactly how long it takes to update the map with an auto tune.
I just finnished speaking with a guy who has the PC5 and autotune and he said the same thing you did, it would not update in one -1/8th mile pass.
BAD, You keep contradicting yourself .....
I have tuned with a bazzaz, and I am telling you you will get suggested changes to update in one- 1/8th mile pass, but the final suggested changes would be more accurate with 2 runs, the more time you can get in each usable cell on the map, the more accurate it will become, but never theless I have seen with my own eyes an update suggested in one run through the gears , requesting 15% more fuel in a 30f variable from the last logged map.
The reason the guys are unloading theior bazzaz is the bottom tuning cells are course (500 rpm spread) and drivability is more difficult to tune out.
If you leave the stock map settings, or stay close, at low throttle positions,5-30% where performance is not a concern, and fuel mileage is, this problem is corrected.
Bikes like the zx10, and the 600 class with much lighter flywheels, and much less low rpm torque have the biggest issue with this. Light flywheels aggrevate the 500 rpm spread, wheras a big heavy crank inertia of the 14 torque engine is much less susceptible.
Still, maintaining factory mapping at and below 30% TPS smooths out the bottom throttle transitions.
So, it seems unless you are too lazy to plug in a Bazzaz and update the map maually, (and I would think for racing purposes you would want to take the time to monitor manually, and have more finite control anyway, ) the bazzaz is a good piece of equipment to own.
Similarily, to having the ecu control your power output through the flies, most competitive people will want to have educated suggestions, and make the changes and control it manually themselves, especially if they have a limited number of elimination and practice runs in the day.
One of the favourite tuners and pipe dealers talked about here everyday has told me basically the same thing I have just wrote. He also stated for the average consumer the PC5 and PC3 are better suited, as the average guy doesn't want to update his map manually everyday.
A serious racer would though!
I have said my piece and am 100% confident with every statement I have made.
I am done with you on this topic.
Anything else you need clarifiaction on?

Opps i make a mistake when i posted my ETs and MPH ...While the ETs were correct i posted the wrong MPH ( to low )...I was getting the bike ready for tonights racing and found the 3 time tickets ..
First off the trailer 5.84 @ 122 with a 60 footer of 1.44 .. Number 2 was 5.81 @ 123.34 with a 1.42 60 .. Number 3 was 5.82 @ 123.49 with a 1.41 60 .. So the bike was really one MPH faster than what i posted..
Since we got rained out Weds night we are going back to the track Tonight and give it another shot ... 30% chance of rain ....

AND THATS WHAT I TOLD YOU FROM THE BEGINNING ...
But you just got to keep going on a fucking bazzaz trip when the whole topic was BROCKS MAP VS AUTO-TUNE ... I DIDN'T SEE ANYTHING ABOUT A FUCKING BAZZAZ UNTIL YOUR DUMBAZZ CAME AROUND ..
And now you just got to prove your right .. when you can't .. cause you don't know what the fuck your talking about with the pc5 ..and i don't give a shit what a bazzaz does and yes i used 1 and i found it to be worthless unless you need to tune 8 injectors ..

Dumbass?
really?
if you weren't so lazy to hook up a laptop you would have seen that it does work, and works quick...
BTW, you are wrong again.
You can map each cylinder independantly with the PC5 and autotune, wheras you can not with the Bazzaz.
For MEGA HP applications, and anyone serious enough to run 4 egt probes or 4 afr meters, that is a bonus for the PC5 too.
Of course you don't even use a torque wrench, never mind a stretch guage on the rod bolts, so you obviously wouldn't be worried about cylinder pressure / power imbalance or the harmonics associated that can destroy rod bearings.
I am trying to acheive reliable HP, and accumulate knowledge on a whole different level than you are.
I don't bring acusations, agressive attitude, conflict or contradiction to the public intentionaly as you do.
I am trying to help others and bring conclusive facts to light, and keep my opinions out of it.
You on the other hand take everything and make everything so personal.
Clearly I am trying to acheive a different level of class than you are on many levels.
Why don't you try to grow up.

as far as the autotronic, I took a hard look at it.
I, unlike your self do not profess to know all....
That would be a whole new project, and elctronics is not my strong point.
I would likely struggle a bit with that installation as they do not make a harness for the 14 yet.
My bike has been down long enough as i have been trying to perfect it as i go.
Yes , I even have dial bore guages, vernier micrometers, rod bolt stretch guages, and I even actually use them!
I am damn close to gettting it done, and will work with I have.
Of course you would like to throw the shit at me more if I didn't ride it this summer either wouldn't you?
Tell ya what, you spend the $4000, as $2500 is just the beginning of that set up.
When you get it perfected and KNOW what you are talking about, come and share some hard facts, and first hand experience with us all.
Step it up a notch, people will begin to respect you more... it really will take you further in every aspect of life.

done been there and done that with the autotronic ecu on a turbo zx11 really was easy ...the wiring harness has simple directions for the easy minded like me ... the software was easy to understand too... and it makes a true close loop system ...but car guys got way better stuff than bike guys but it cost ... pc5 and bazzaz is junk compared to the SM4 ..

SM4-
I really like the anti knock control and features, especialy independant knock control on each cylinder, although knock sensor placement would be interesting
It surely is superior, but from what I understand I basically throw the stock harness and ecu in the bin and start fresh...
With all of the canbus on the 14, the guages are also binned I would think?
That would be a big job, and very expensive. For me anyway.
Out of my realm at this point for sure. Probably forever... thats pro class pro sponsored stuff.
I will have to get by with the microteck and innovate stuff for a while.
The secondary system has certainly been working well for Chris Jones.
The opportunities to improve are endless.

Up Date ....
Friday Test and Tune 90 Deg and 64 % humidity ..
Same set up as late Weds Night , No changes to the bike at all ...

I knew it had some 5.70s in it , i just needed a few more passes to find them ..I think i can get a 5.70 flat with a few more passes ...So you ask what is faster a 06 07 zx14 or 08 09 zx14 ?? Well i still don't know because the 09 is still short the mods of the 06 but i can say this with no problem >>> It's Damn sure not any slower !!!!!!
