Calling out Fish and his beloved Busa

Heard enough crap yet about how much you are biased in favor of your Busa? Kinda getting old reading it. SO: how about we lay this to rest once and for all. Bring you Busa to Ducati of Seattle this Saturday for there BBQ and dyno shootout. Gilberjj, Some Guy, myself and hopefully a few others will be there. You can run your bike on the dyno against both Muzzy's and Brocks equipped 14's, and more importantly you can do some bike swapping with at least gilberjj and I so we can report up the back to back opinions of guys who, while thoroughly liking our 14's, are not diehard Kawasaki fans.

*edit: Gilberjj if he shows, be forewarned I will have my ignition advancer installed again and set at 3 deg so its a level playing field.

Sticks the busa is a dyno queen and will mostlikely put out more HP on the dyno than a zx14 ...You want to prove what makes more HP in the real world take them to the track ... Should be an easy kill seeing that Fish will be lucky to run an 11 second pass ...lol...

Dyno? I would put money on my bike at least taking out his Busa, as long as we both are running pump gas.

I am curious about the handling aspect, and the heat on legs versus vibration. I personally am used to leg heat and zero engine vibration so am curious if the loss of one will offset the gain of the other. Also, would be nice to do a brake check comparison: I'm thinking the aftermarket setup Fish has will still not match the stock 14 brakes.

Also curious if the curves of the Busa will match the curve of my beer belly when I'm riding. ya know, kinda like how girls pick shoes based on there dress style? lmao

Call me out?

WTF are you talking about dude... Bikeland has a stable of bikes of all brands that rotate every season.

Somehow I'm supposed to be sorry that we felt the Busa was better at some things than the 14? I guess I must be equally sorry for presenting a balanced point of view because we also stated that the 14 was better at some things than the Busa... and EVEN WORSE for telling people both are great bikes

shit.. an HONEST review presenting the strengths and weaknesses of a product ! imagine that...

So this time 'round we reviewed the Busa therefore it's my "beloved"? Prepare yourself for more, because we're going to keep reviewing bikes of all brands... so I guess all of those are my "beloved" as well.

holy fuck - get a grip ...

want a white-wash? subscribe to a magazine or join any vertical-scope owned website where they'll tell you only what you want to hear so you can feel awesome and all fluffy about yourself.. That's not a review - that's MARKETING.

FYI I'm not driving 3 hours to run a bike on a dyno that we've already dyno'd, nor do I give a shit - the busa will be gone and replaced with something else soon enough - hopefully an R1 or a VMax.

NOW who is reading only part of a post and going off half cocked Fish?!?! If you read the post, you would know that "beloved Busa" comment was a satirical reference to what others have said about you.

Also you should have gotten the fact that this offer was a two-fold opportunity for Bikeland.
One - meet the members of Bikeland that are the closest to you in the states.
Two - to put some water on the percieved favoritism fire some have lit under any and all posts regarding the Hayabusa versus ZX14 (and ANY Hayabusa or ZX14 post of yours has become a Busa verse 14 debate hasnt it?).

So it becomes "WTF are YOU talking about dude...?" Just say yes and come on down to the warm sunny weather in Seattle! *

* 'warm' and 'sunny' are both relative terms not to be associated with expectations garnered during forays into climates such as southern Cali, Texas, or Florida. Any and all references to predicting or guaranteeing weather conditions more than 1 hour away is strictly done for amusement purposes and does not reflect this posters actual beliefs or faith.

It should be a pretty good time fish....... I thought your review was good, and right now I don't have those foam things in my bike so it will spit out a lot more heat then a stock 14.

Not to mention an opportunity for Bikeland to test the new Ducati line up. All you need is proof of car insurance and you can take a test ride. They have great group of guys there. It's where I bought my zx10r.
I already have a busy Saturday or I'd be there too.

AND ZACKLY what was your review ... in my book it was nothing more than a busa better than 14 market plug .. and would fit in perfect at L.A.Busa's or Hayabusa.org ..

fellas, did I come off wrong or what? All I was trying to do was offer up a fun time for all with a group of fairly neutral guys to do a honest back to back comparison in traffic. I actually figured I would like the Busa to be honest.

I never was one of the guys bashing Fish since I always figured his evals of bikes was pretty spot on and the 14 he got for his tester WAS a overheating pre-production pile.

Fish you aint gotta like me, but until you throw me out of your website I'm gonna be around, and I'm actually a good guy if you met me in person. So is Dogo, Some Guy, and Gilberjj. Come to think of it, every guy on a 14 I've met have been good guys (same cant be said for the gixxer crowd...).

How about sending Freak? He's always up for a long ride I bet.

So, basically, motorcycles are "one night stands" to you.

No love, attachment, or long term committment! Doesn't really fit the mold of how many people are passionate about their machines...I'd rather hear a passionate review!

R1 or VMax?

Keep that Busa and don't waste your money!
I have to look at the R1 on daily basis and it reminds me of
