Went to the track Saturday...
... and ran my best time so far. 9.309 @ 146.79
Heres how it breaks down:
R/T .217

1/8 5.988
MPH 119.72
1000 7.779
1/4 9.309
MPH 146.79
My setup: 16/46, +7" wheelbase, stock shock w/ Race Tech's heaviest spring, BMC race
filter, MR-11 fuel, MPS air shifter, strapped and lowered, U-Soft @ 9 psi, AH w/ Maxton map
Brock's heavy springs with the MTC shims
I am probably about 220-225 suited.
I am crossing the line around 11,500 in 5th.
Tri State Dragway in Hamilton, Ohio.

Very nice 60 ft. You need to run way more air in your shinko. As much as you weigh i would run 20psi. At 9 psi you are probably damn near hitting the rim on the track when you launch and all the way down the track. Raise it up to 20 and that will work and you will also run more MPH @20.

The starting line is very hit and miss throughout the T+T session. I have found that 9 psi
works well regardless of conditions. I have tried higher pressures but end up spinning
either off the line or about 100 or so feet out.

I feel you I think shinkos suck, I had to run around 8 to 10psi to hook and my track is good. run a race corsa now usally around 30 psi

I may try a Michelin Power Race Soft next time. I think that is what Ninjaboy is running
and his times are damn good.

Hamilton track doesn't hook at all. Couldn't hardly stand on track it was so slick about a month ago. Spun bad every run untill getting to about 10 psi.

I'm currently running the all new Michelin Power One 180-55 RV. This tire hooks like glue and I am running 15-18 psi, at 69" wheelbase. The Power Race Soft is a bad ass tire too, and you can get the Power Race's on ebay right now for CHEAP!!!!

I have an update to pass along...
Went to Kil-Kare Dragway in Xenia ( zeen-ya), Ohio for Two Wheel Tuesday and did a little
better...
R/T .644
60 1.5479

1/8 ET 5.9810
1/8 MPH 121.58
1/4 ET 9.2478
1/4 MPH 149.12
Track was hooking real good. I was able to go up to 15 psi in the rear tire.

Icarus....You need to come to muncie and race with us on a wednesday night. I run anywhere from 15 to 25 psi and get low 1.4's out of mine. We have been rained out for 5 weeks now, it's so annoying. I wanna hit mother nature in the face with a shovel...

They have saturday races but no T&T on weekends. Sometimes you can catch the track rented out during the day on wednesdays before T&T. You can run pretty much all day until 4 o'clock....get as many pass's as your clutch will hold...If I remember i'll shoot you a pm next time I hear about the track being rented out.
